I have a small hatchback auto. I went to Sunbelt to ensure that they had a lawn aerator that would fit in my car.

They looked at it and showed me the aerator that would fit. I gave my credit card # to reserve it for the weekend. I came back early Saturday a.m. Staff helped me load it.

Only then did they ask whether I had tie-downs. I said, "If you had told me when I came to reserve it, I would have brought some." They offered me a length of thin plastic twine, which I used to tie it down to the clamps that hold the fold-down second row seats. It was secure. As soon as I moved forward, the twine snapped (the knots held, but the twine broke in the middle), the aerator rolled back and it smashed through the rear window.

Sunbelt claimed no responsibility; personnel were unprofessional in their attitude.

It cost me $250 additional out of pocket (+ time) to have the rear window replaced. I wouldn't recommend Sunbelt to a layman.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

That is ridiculous. Of coarse it is your responsibility to tie it down.

You asked if it would fit, it did. You did not ask how to secure it.

I have no doubt they would have put that on you. That is your responsibility.
